Napa
The City of Napa has 28 neighborhoods at last count. Its downtown is bustling with activity, including new housing development that complements the historic buildings of the 18th and 19th centuries. The Napa Valley Opera House is a centerpiece, Italianate structure built in 1880 and now open to the community for educational and arts events. A tributary of the Napa River runs through the city, creating the opportunity for river walks and boating. Other landmarks of note are the relatively new Oxbow Public Market and the Culinary Institute of America at Copia with its wonderful Chuck Williams Culinary Arts Museum. The central area is easy to navigate with its Alphabet Streets.
