The Holidays have arrived! There are so many fun events happening in the Napa Valley in the month of December. Please enjoy this event list we have compiled for you.


Event List

Santa Train, November 20th - December 27th

Holiday elves have transformed the Wine Train into an enchanting holiday experience. Board the Santa Train to add some sparkle and spirit to your Christmas season.

Sip hot cocoa, munch freshly-baked cookies, and join in games and sing-alongs with a jolly cast of characters headlined by Santa himself. Watch faces fill with joy as we wind our way to the North Pole on a special mission to help Jolly the Bear. Treat the little ones to a truly magical, musical, and memorable family Christmas adventure!


Third Annual Holiday Marketplace, November 29th - December 21st

The CIA at Copia warmly welcomes you to our third annual Holiday Marketplace, where you can shop, eat, drink, and be merry, all in one location. We’ll be serving up winter-inspired drinks and snacks at our seasonal sips bar while you find the perfect gift for everyone on your list, or for yourself.

The marketplace will feature a curated selection of Bay Area artisanal goods, from Amanda Wright Pottery, Ink + Alloy jewelry, Franmara wine accessories, and others. We’ll also have a selection of culinary holiday ornaments and gifts for the home as well as CIA merchandise and gift cards.

Open Every Saturday From 12 PM - 4 PM until December 21st

Santa available for photos, Carolers singing classic holiday tunes, special First Street Napa shopping offers, decorative lights up for the season. hELD Sunday, December 1st, 12 PM - 3 PM,  Sunday, December 15th, 12 PM - 3 PM,  & Saturday, December 21st, 12 PM - 3 PM.


24th Annual Calistoga Lighted Christmas Tractor Parade, December 7th, 7 PM

Calistoga’s Lighted Tractor Parade is the ultimate small-town holiday celebration of our agricultural heritage. Vintage and modern tractors, antique trucks, and construction equipment bedecked with dazzling lights parade down Calistoga’s charming main street to kick off the holiday season. This popular Napa Valley event, which gets bigger and better each year, is perfect for the whole family.


Annual Reindeer Run, December 7th, 9 AM

The most scenic 5k/10k in the Bay area! The course is flat and fast on paved roads and well-groomed gravel trails. Beautiful wetlands views are visible from every turn and participants can expect to see wildlife including birds, owls, swans, or raptors. You may even catch a glimpse of the playful river otters that live in the area.
