As we enter mid-summer, I encourage all of you to get outdoors to refresh your mind, body, and soul. My team and I are actively selling properties. The market in Wine Country has seen a small boost of city dwellers looking for more space with an affordable option. I believe demand will continue to rise as we enter late summer and early fall. We all know there are many moving parts in the world, so we are marketing aggressively, and working with our buyers in finding them homes.
Please scroll down to see a couple of my listings and my pick for this month’s Book Club.
Wishing you and your families a fun summer!
Bacchus Vineyards | 3300 Old River Road | Ukiah | Offered at $3,995,000
I just listed a beautiful 100 + acre vineyard property with two modest homes in Mendocino. The property has 94 +/- acres planted in grapes, and as you may know, Mendocino is an excellent growing region for grapes. Take a lovely drive to this distinctive area and enjoy their Redwood forests and scenic coastal drives. The property is unique in that it has ten parcel numbers that can potentially be developed individually for homes, grow cannabis, or to continue growing grapes. More to come on this unique property.

As you can see, this book has been tattered and well-read. First, my daughter read it then recommended it to me. I know we have heard all the Kennedy stories, but this book is unique because it was written as a novel or a Roman à clef. The book takes you into the deep yet soul-crushing relationship between John Fitzgerald Kennedy or Jack, as he is often referred to, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. What stood out to me the most, is the deep love Jacqueline had for Jack, yet her demure armor was just that…an armor with chinks in it. Internally, she was a brilliant woman who found ways to stand up for herself and protect her family during an era when women didn’t have any power. She was indeed a powerhouse. Even though the ending is well known, it is truly a beautiful book that weaves a heartbreaking love story. Make sure you bring your Kleenex to your reading spot…. In the end, they were royalty, and Jacqueline will always be missed. Her elegance, style, class, and incredible perseverance should continue to be a lesson for all women.
You can buy a copy of the book here.
